the parking fee was quite high at £27 per night. the window in my upgraded room was nailed shut and poorly done, causing a draft and a banging door all night.

Mabel in the south beach restaurant has a lovely smile. she was very helpful with everything. i also had lunch. The restaurant felt very romantic. the staff were friendly, and they chatted with me.

The minibar bill included items i did not use, the cleaner must have forgotten. i wrote an email but never got a response. i do wish they had replied! the parking felt expensive. The location was otherwise perfect.

the outdoor pool was closed . this was a major disappointment since it was one of the main reasons i booked the stay. the spa offered an alternative pool, but it was cold. also, i could only use it for one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon since i was travelling with children. it wasn't a good compromise!!!
